Metamorphosis II

Well, I've really let things go since my father's illness and death. Maybe it's time to step back up to the plate and play ball again.

So here are the boys, much grown since the last pictures I've posted. (Can you tell by the 'too small' coat my oldest is wearing?)

The boys are doing a little target practice today. I almost hesitate to post these pictures with guns, but we don't hunt with them (i.e. we don't shoot little bunnies). They are only used for target practice with a parent present. Right now the targets are Halloween pumpkins and my old cookware. We feel it's better to get the kids outside instead of sitting in front of the computer or video games all day.

That's an old 22 they are shooting. I took a shot for old times sake and hit the target - first try. My dad would have been proud!

 Last night the boys talked us into going "Cosmic Bowling". That's bowling late at night with Loud Music, blacklights and lasers. It really was fun! Although Mom has learned that she's not as young or agile as she used to be......Now it's more like - walk the ball up to the line and with a light swing, slowly roll the ball down the lane. Oh, and I found that those 6 lb children's balls are just perfect for me!
