About a month later-

I tell ya, this tick has been laying eggs for the last couple weeks. And after she is finally done, she will die. (And I thought my 2 labor's were bad!)

See all the tiny dots - those are all baby ticks. And as you can see on the bottom - their poor deceased mother (see her legs sticking up in the air? ha) and the empty egg case thingie (technical term, I hope I'm not above anyone's head here....)
